Sitewise Construction — Building People. Building Futures.
About Sitewise

Started on site, not in a call centre

Sitewise Construction Ltd was founded in 2026 by two directors, Scott Thomas and Wayne Laking, with direct working experience on principal-contractor sites.

Where we started

A supply chain we've worked in ourselves

Before founding Sitewise, our directors worked as CIS subcontractors on large-scale developments through established labour suppliers. That gave us a direct view of what principal contractors need from a labour supplier, and what subcontractors need to be paid fairly and on time.

Sitewise was built to sit cleanly between the two: a labour supply agency that invoices clients on standard Net 30 terms and pays subcontractors weekly, week-in-hand.

How we operate

Genuine self-employment, properly documented

Subcontractors placed by Sitewise work under the direction and RAMS of the principal contractor — not under our day-to-day control. Every placement is backed by a Contract for Services, CIS verification records, and a requirement for the subcontractor to hold their own liability insurance.

We run our CIS compliance directly at this stage, keeping the process lean while we build volume.

What we hold ourselves to

Principles behind the paperwork

Verified, not assumed

CIS status is verified with HMRC and logged for every subcontractor before they're placed on site.

Documented from day one

Contracts, timesheets, CIS deduction statements, and verification records are kept for every placement.

Paid on time

Subcontractors are paid weekly on a week-in-hand basis, regardless of client payment timing.
